Our Active Façade Systems feature an adjustable mechanical flap integrated into the curtain wall. This innovative system is designed to:

Computational Fluid Dynamics Capabilities

At Alcon, we leverage advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) capabilities to enhance the design and performance of our façade systems. As part of our service, we conduct solar studies to identify façade areas exposed to high solar radiation. Using CFD analysis, we evaluate the airflow distribution within the cavity, ensuring minimized acoustic disturbances and optimized ventilation.

Our engineers perform double-skin thermal analyses to evaluate temperatures across different façade layers, determining the overall U-value of the cladding while assessing both acoustic and solar performance. Additionally, shading controls are integrated with smart control software, which can be seamlessly linked to the building's MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and management design. This comprehensive approach ensures that our façade systems deliver exceptional energy efficiency, comfort, and functionality for modern buildings across Pakistan.
