Free Standing Balustrades
Our Free-Standing balustrade systems are designed following the latest version of BS 6180. Live loadings are based on BS 6399, while other out-of-plane loads are based on project specifications. American construction standards, such as ASTM E985 and ASTM E1300, also serve as references.
The primary elements of our balustrade consist of rolled mild steel channel (hot deep galvanized) or Aluminium shoe brackets, and laminated heat-strengthened glass using PVB or SGP interlayer material as per wind load and specification requirements.
Relying on the strength of the glass secured to a sturdy base rail, without any vertical supports or even a handrail, our frameless glass balustrades use thicker and heavier super-strong laminated and toughened safety glass. All our balustrade systems undergo performance tests, such as live load and impact tests, conducted by independent testing agencies.
